Vice Director of National Health and Family Planning Commission
ZENG Yixin was born in October 1962 in Loudi Hunan Province. He joined the Chinese Communist Party in December 1984 and started his work in July 1990. He has the doctorate of Clinical Medicine, and also works as the academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Third World Academy of Sciences, and International Academy of Sciences for Europe and Asia. He graduated from the Medical School of University of South China (former Hengyang Medical School) with scholar degree in July 1985 and Zhongshan School of Medicine with doctorate in July 1990.
From 1990.7 to 1992.7, he worked as a Research Assistant and Attending Doctor of Geriatric Institute of Guangdong General Hospital. From 1992.7 to 1995.1, he worked as the Post doctor and Visiting Scholar of Tokyo Metropolitan Institute of Elderly People and The Institute of Sciences of University of Tokyo. From 1995.1 to 1997.3, he worked as the Research assistant of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute of University of Pennsylvania. From 1997.3 to 1997.10, he worked as Deputy Director and Director of Cancer Center of Sun Yat-sen University. In 2005, he worked as Director of State Key Laboratory of Oncology in Southern China. From 2010.8 to 2011.8, he worked as Deputy Dean of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Peking Union Medical College. In 2011.4, he worked as Committee member of Advisory Committee of the leading group of Health Reform under the State Council. From 2011.8 to 2015.11, he worked as President of Peking Union Medical College and Deputy Dean of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. In 2015.11, he worked as President of Beijing Hospital. From 2017.2 till now, he has been working as Vice Director, Party member of National Health and Family Planning Commission, Vice Director of Central Healthy Committee.
